 Wayne Throop is an honest and reliable professional who is results oriented and is very resourceful in determining solutions. Wayne has lived in the Ottawa area since 1991 and during that time he has specialized in providing outstanding customer service for a variety of companies. Wayne has a proven track record that demonstrates consistency in meeting and/or exceeding expectations through a combination of hard work and dedication to continuous improvement.
In 1991 Wayne graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in Geography. After graduation, Wayne moved to Ottawa and began his working career in environmental consulting. It was during this time the foundation was being laid for a future career in Real Estate. Through the early to mid 1990s Wayne continued to improve his customer service and interpersonal communication skills in a variety of different consulting and project management roles.
In 1997 Wayne returned to the formal classroom to complete a college diploma in Applied Information Technology. Upon his graduation in 1998 his career shifted gears and he started working in the high tech field for Entrust Technologies. It was during his stay at Entrust from 1998 to 2004 that Wayne's customer relations and sales skills began to get recognized. Between 2001 and 2004 Wayne was consistently being recognized for his sales and customer service achievements at Entrust.
Finally in the spring of 2004 Wayne made the decision to pursue a career in Real Estate. It was a very natural fit right from the start. Upon completion of Real Estate licensing program through the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) in April 2004, Wayne joined Royal Lepage Gale Real Estate in Manotick and in less than 2 years was awarded the Royal Lepage Gold Sales Award for 2005. In 2006 and 2007 he acheived the Directors Platinum Sales Award (Top 5% in Canada) and for 2008 he acheived the Diamond Sales Award (Top 3% in Canada).
